Establish your Salary Package
Once you have completed a Salary Packaging Application Form and provided any required substantiating documents, Southgate will establish your salary package as per your instructions. You will receive a Benefit Confirmation Report confirming the structure of your salary package and a Welcome Kit containing your username and password for online access to your salary package details and transaction history.
Payroll Notification
Southgate will issue a Payroll Advice to your Employer’s Payroll Department for processing. Payroll remits all salary packaging income deductions to Southgate but retains any budgeted FBT deductions (if applicable). Funds are deposited into your salary packaging account each pay cycle once received from payroll.
Payment and Reimbursements Commence
Southgate pays for the fringe benefits on your behalf from your salary packaging account. Southgate may reimburse you for any expenses you have already paid (post-tax) from available funds upon lodging a completed Reimbursement Claim Form.
